【Abstract】 This article uses relevant knowledge of linguistics (lexicology, semantics, stylistics, rhetoric, etc.) and communication (speech communication and mass communication) to analyze two pieces of oral evidences in the lawsuit of Yang against Hu. It argues: (1) that, during the first instance, the text message sent by the plaintiff to the defendant through cell phone bears the nature of sexual implication; and (2) that, in the petition for appeal, the counsel for the defense argues that it is inaccurate to say blog and traditional log are same in nature. Instead, the blog of the defendant is of the nature of mass communication.
